The Poll for our Poet of the Year 2009 is now open.

Qualification was based on user activity. Content submitted, comments made, hits on content. This seems fair as it ensures active site members are eligible.

Now we have our final ten and I really want you to think about who you will vote for and why.

You could vote for your friends or the person who is most active within our community. Both valid reasons but they have already received recognition by qualification. I want you to vote for the person who you think is the best poet.

You can vote once every 24 hours.

The winner will have an article written about them and their poetry, a link from the mainpage directly to their poetry page and of course have the honour of being 'Coffee Connection Poet of the Year 2009'.

The Poll will remain open until the end of the year. The winner will be announced in early January 2010.
